What is Gelato, er, Italian Ice Cream?

We like to think of gelato as ice cream’s Italian cousin. Gelato is made with more milk and less cream than ice cream, so it has less fat. Gelato is churned more slowly, so it incorporates less air. With less fat, less air and a warmer serving temperature, gelato is smoother on the tongue with flavors that really pop!

So, yeah, gelato is a bit like ice cream. But it’s Creamier, Smoother and Bursting with Intense Flavor.
